I like playing Risk of Rain on an easier difficult level, personally. It has a dreary atmosphere and the combat is kinda repetitive, but if you get a good mix of items it can be fun and over the top. I haven't played the new one but the original Risk of Rain is good.

I bought four PC controllers and have played basically every local co-op game released in the last couple of years.Ī lot of these aren't actually roguelites but they are all great for 2-4 players:īroforce - Side-scrolling 80s action hero madness. I REALLY like both of these games, in case anyone can't tell :) The game is easily worth full asking price, so if you like the video I'd say get it immediately! :)
The other characters in the world react to your actions as they go about theirs, and will even fight amongst themselves, with different factions like gangs that will fight if they encounter each other, cops chasing thieves or criminals, even gorillas that HATE the evil scientists that DARE to cage them!
Its an indie roguelite rpg with pixel graphics and procedural generation that is all about surviving and thriving in the city from hell, using stealth, guile, and violence or NOT! Streets of Rogue is also Incredible as others have mentioned. Game is currently on sale from under $3 on Steam til 05/04/20 such an awesome deal!
